Two Remanded For Burning Kigezi Diocesan Offices

John Magezi and Geoffrey Turyatunga have been remanded to Ndorwa government prison after they were charged with neglect of duty.

The two accused suspects could not control the fire that set ablaze the diocesan offices destroying property worth millions on September 12
Magezi is the head of security at Kigezi diocesan offices while Turyatunga is a security officer attached to security 2000 limited.
Appearing before court on Thursday September 26 that was presided over Amos Kwizera, the Kabale chief magistrate, the accused pleaded not guilty and were remanded to Ndorwa government prison up to 3rd of October 2013.

The two suspects were on September 13 arrested with Hilary Kibabi, a Christian and Rev. Edson Turyatunga, the chaplain Uganda College of Commerce
To the surprise of many, Hilary Kibabi and Rev. Edison Turyatunga were neither in court nor were their names mentioned.
