Somalia based Islamist group Al Shabab late on Saturday confirmed to Al Jazeera news channel that it claimed responsibility for the brutal attack in the Kenyan capital Nairobi that claimed the lives of 30 people in an attack on an upscale city mall. Al shabab is linked to international terror group Al qaeda.
The group also claimed responsibility for a second attack that took place at Mogadishu’s Bakata market at 11am on Saturday.
Al Shabab on their twitter account say Kenyan government ignored their warnings to remove troops from Somalia.
